Twin Valley YMCA To Hold Blood Drive

AUGUST 27 - On Friday, August 27, 2010 the Twin Valley YMCA and the American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive. The blood drive will be from 9 am to 3 pm at 51 South Pine Street in Elverson Borough. The YMCA is located behind St. Joe's Urgent Care facility. Morning Wake Up Call In Elverson Borough

JULY 30 - This morning around 7:00 am Twin Valley Fire Department (Station 69) along with Elverson EMS and Honey Brook EMS (station 33) were alerted to the intersections of Rt 401 and Steeplechase Drive for an MVA. Single Vehicle Collision on PA Turnpike Claims One Life

JULY 26 - This afternoon around 4:00 pm Elverson EMS along with Glenmoore Fire Co., Uwchaln EMS, and Medic 93 from Brandywine Hospital were alerted to the PA Turnpike for a motor vehicle accident involving an overturned vehicle. Untimely Passing of Past Norco Fire Chief, Jack Schaeffer

JULY 23 - Jack A. Schaeffer, 50, husband of Catherine M. (Moyer) Schaeffer, of Pottstown, passed away on Tuesday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center with his loving family and friends by his side.

Born in Pottstown, he was a son of Jean (Pollock) Schaeffer and Linwood Schaeffer.

MAY 13 - Tonight members attended the annual Chester County EMS Council Awards ceremony at the Red Clay Room at the Kennett Square Fire Co..
