Both providers completed the long and stressful state EMT-B class held by Goodfellowship Training Institute. Med event standby at Pocono Raceway for NASCAR & ACRA races

AUGUST 03 - At 3:30 am on Friday August 1st and Saturday August 2nd crews from Elverson EMS left station to head to the Pocono raceway to assist staff from the Lehigh Valley Hospital for the NASCAR Sprint Cup series qualifying practice, the ARCA Re/Max series qualifying practice and the Pennsylvania ACRA 200 Race.

JULY 13 - Today members traveled to St Peters to Deputy EMS Chief Levengood's residence for the annual summer picnic. After a harty meal, members kept busy throwing quakes, swimming, play other water games, and socializing in the shade. TEEN RESCUED FROM ROCKS IN ST PETERS

JULY 03 - Around 4:50 this evening crews were dispatched to the St Peters Village for a injured person after a fall. While enroute 89-22 (Trimble) requested that Rescue 69 (TVFD) along with Sky Flight Care 1 be dispatched for the assist. Upon arrival units were advised by 89-21 (Levengood) to proceed to the parking lot at the north end of the village. Units worked for to extricate the victim for about 2 ... (Full Story & Photos)

Summer Boot Day a Success

JUNE 28 - Today members head to the Wal-Mart complex to participate in a Boot Day fund drive. Members battled the heat from 9am to 2pm and dodge two storms that came through the area. The Officers and members of Elverson EMS would like to thank the passing motorists who rolled down their windows on the hot day and donated to the organization. Covering Downingtown for the Day.

JUNE 21 - Today Elverson Ambulance 89-2 along with Utility 89 made the trip to Downingtown to cover for station 46 EMS while they were attending there 100th Year Anniversary Celebration. EMT's DeLong and Foraker made to trip to 46 at about 6:30 this morning. We covered for the DFD for about 18 hours and covered 4 calls for them. BUSY SATURDAY W/ SPECIAL EVENTS, MVA'S, AND BUILDING FIRE

JUNE 15 - Crews started out the day when we met at station to travel to Morgantown and have breakfast at Claire's Restaurant. After a great meal crews went back to station to load up the squad and utility and head to the Twin Valley Elementary School where Boy Scout Troup #91 of Elverson was hosting a bicycle rodeo.
