Twin Valley YMCA To Hold Blood Drive
AUGUST 27
- On Friday, August 27, 2010 the Twin Valley YMCA and the American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive. The blood drive will be from 9 am to 3 pm at 51 South Pine Street in Elverson Borough. The YMCA is located behind St. Joe's Urgent Care facility. - This afternoon around 4:00 pm Elverson EMS along with Glenmoore Fire Co., Uwchaln EMS, and Medic 93 from Brandywine Hospital were alerted to the PA Turnpike for a motor vehicle accident involving an overturned vehicle. - Jack A. Schaeffer, 50, husband of Catherine M. (Moyer) Schaeffer, of Pottstown, passed away on Tuesday at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center with his loving family and friends by his side. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of Jean (Pollock) Schaeffer and Linwood Schaeffer. He was a thirty year member of the Norco Fire Company and spent the last seven years as its Chief.
