Today members from Elverson EMS, Twin Valley Fire Department, and Warwick County Park Rangers participated in a training detail at Warwick County Park. The class was led and instructed by Career EMT, R. Kagel. Crews went through numerous scenarios and trained in packaging patients for transport and treating wilderness injuries. Park Ranger J. Spenser helped to coordinate the event and also showed Twin Valley and Elverson EMS crews the layout of the park. It was surprising to see the different varieties of terrain throughout the park. Elverson EMS would like to that the superintendent of the park for allowing us to have our training session at the park.
